Replace “car” with just about any limitation of the real world and it’s true. Video games don’t have to care about construction, functionality, repairs, or any of the other things that affect a city’s aesthetic.
Racetracks in video games are more beautiful than real life, too
Somehow even stays true in car-centric games like GTA.
It’s because of unrealistically-low amounts of parking.
Ditto even for city-builders like Cities Skylines.
