A year and a half is more than a sixth of that kid’s life. Like six years for a late 20s person.
It’s even more than that when you consider humans usually cannot recall much about the first couple years of their lives (see childhood amnesia). Granted this is about what adults can remember about their early lives but I wouldn’t expect an 8yo to remember when they were 2 either.
Damn, I hadn’t even thought of it that way. That’s actually wild!
