I wanted to try it for F:NV but i see a lot of issues and bugs reported on the github while the last commit was made 9 months ago.

I bought a TCL TV a while ago. After a year, backlight died. So they sent me a new one. 6 months later, backlight died. Thankfully I got my money back this time and went with a different brand.

Yeah, imagine missing all that karma by not posting a photo of your RTX 5090.

I’m worried that at the end of the day, gamers will just give up and accept higher prices, kinda like with GPUs.

I’d love to read the article but The Guardian is forcing me to accept tracking so…

Yeah. You see a lot of angry comments from European politicians… on X.
“No matter which distro you picked, you picked the wrong one.”
The funniest thing I’ve seen is someone asking for help with an issue on Linux Mint on a certain subreddit and a lot of commenters attacked him for using Mint, saying he should just install Fedora if he wants a good Linux experience. Then, a couple of posts under that one was another guy, asking for help with his issue on Fedora. The comments clowned on him, saying “what did you expect from Fedora? It sucks! Install Linux Mint instead, it just works!”.

Typical slacktivism.

How do you do, my fellow progressives? Did you know that renting everything instead of ownership is good for the planet? You should rent an apartment NOW! Oh, and throw out that rusty old PS2. You get a lot more value if you buy our monthly Amazon Gaming Plus subscription (you also get 30 second ads instead of a full minute ones! What a crazy value!)

Makes sense. If you want to “showcase Linux gaming”, having VRR and HDR support helps.

I’m playing a lot of older titles nowadays (2010-2018 releases) and I’m amazed by how much better these games work on Linux. I remember playing Fallout 4 last year. On Windows, I’d hit about 80-90 fps with a TON of stuttering. Under Linux, I had stable 120. DXVK really works wonders sometimes. Funnily enough, for many older titles there are guides on how to use DXVK on Windows for better performance.

I’ve seen a lot of left-leaning people on the polish subreddit getting angry over the veto. Absolutely insane, they are unironically begging for censorship there.
I just used Jackify to install Viva New Vegas modpack. Too bad it doesn’t support non-premium Nexus Mods downloads. As a workaround, I have installed Wabbajack via Jackify, opened it, and used Wabbajack to streamline downloading the mods into a specified folder. Then I went back to Jackify and pointed it to the folder with mods, which skipped the Nexus Mods premium check. Thankfully, it was “only” 140 mods for manual clicking. I would go insane if i tried to get a modlist with 500+ mods.
