There are plenty of troops that just repair cars. Maybe those cars get used for murder, maybe they don’t. It’s a complex moral problem that is different for everyone at different levels.

I suspect most adults have some coping mechanisms built up so its often harder to separate out the basic problems. Children offer a ‘cleaner’ study, so that is what they focus on.

I have to say my 6 year old has a lot of symptoms. I started giving her melatonin to help her sleep and a lot of the behavioral issues have gotten a lot better.

I’m not trying to say its a cure all, but I was surprised how well it helps her sleep, and how many (I thought) unrelated issues have improved.

I think its more likely an impact driver. They are much more common than hammer drills. Ironically more inappropriate for any drilling.

Rampage was actually a good (if fucked up) movie.

Back when I had free time, I watched a lot of bad movies. Good bad (Tromeo and Juliet ) bad bad (BloodRayne). Just about everything of Boll’s falls into the second bucket, but Rampage is in neither. I don’t want to oversell this, but its an above average movie.

I met a guy preaching the carnivore diet bullshit. He was actually a pretty nice dude, not a right winger just fell for the silly carrots are poison nonsense. I didn’t even bother to point out bioaccumulation / biomagnification, I was too preoccupied trying to understand where these insanely stupid ideas come from.
