I use windows where I’m forced to. Read work. The red line has already been crossed.

Any of these things comes to mind:

• Not respecting my configuration.
• Updates taking hours and then having to boot safe mode to repair after said update.
• Having to constantly fight spyware.
• The feeling that my computer is not my own.
• Stupid design decisions.
• Feeling like an unpaid tester for an anti-consumer company.

If it does not work on linux, I don’t buy it. I’m sick of Microsoft. They feel like abusers.

The law should be that the recording can only be used in private, by the owner of the device, not a company. If anyone shares the imagery or steals it, they should be subject to some kind of day-fine.

Humans are not good with global, long term problems, even when the consequence is catastrophic. The only thing of interest is the next fiscal quarter.

Overpopulation, climate change, mass extinction, biosphere collapse. I feel like this will be the most likely undoing of human kind. Our very own great filter.

I grab some of the free games but every time I try to play one, they don’t work on linux and i give up. Too used to steam just working out of the box.

If a product says smart or AI on it; I don’t buy. I want a quality product that lasts my life time.

I enjoy that aspect for sure. Once I had subscribed to enough communities, I have plenty of content and apparent activity in my feed. For a lot of people that takes getting used to and people have low attention spans.

He can get a job as a picker on another farm. Maybe one owned by a big corporation. Maybe his own former farm once it’s sold. They are freeing up work conventionally done by imigrant workers, right? Hard work pays off under conservatives, right?
