have you done the trans rite of passage going round charity shops (second-hand / thrift stores) yet? it’s a very cheap way to replace your wardrobe and figure out your style. and tbh charity shops are just good anyway. or maybe try vinted (if they have it in your country) if you don’t have the confidence to go fem shopping in person yet

Escaped parrot on the loose ‘causing havoc’ in Inverness
A PARROT on the loose is “causing havoc” in a Scottish city and is being blamed for hundreds of pounds worth of damage to cars.
The bird, which is a type of parrot called a parakeet, has been seen flying around the Lochardil area of Inverness since February.
Local residents have told BBC Radio Scotland that they have witnessed the bird pecking at window seals and window wipers, “gouging out huge chunks of rubber”.

coming to the realisation that my mother is never going to see me as anything other than her confused and broken son. she’ll never use my pronouns and it’s been fucking years. or my name. she’ll tolerate but never advocate for me. she’ll continue to consume the slop which tells her that the greatest threat to her safety is a trans person taking a piss and that actually iran and palestine deserved it and disabled people are just lazy and that overexploited workers should just be quiet. i’ll never get through to her politically. she’ll always vote for the worst people possible, parrot the most appalling takes, and assure herself that it’s just politics and that “it was hard for us, too”. she’s the one family member i’m not nc with but i think i’m done.
