At the risking of analysing a meme, while I’d rather a murderer to a pedo (if for some god awful reason I had to pick); people using their willingness to murder to virtual signal has always been bizarre as fuck to me. Especially given what that character did to protagonist characters. Like using a character who gloated in the face of two people as they’re dying because he caved their skulls in; definitely someone I want to be around.
Negan was at least genuine. Rick was a piece of shit that pretended to be a good guy but broke the rules when he felt like it and invariably destroyed every safe haven they came across.
