AI “innovators” consistently miss what the point of basically doing anything is. Like why would I want to research anything if I want an AI to do it for me instead? Unless of course it is drudgery which I want to do for purely “career” reasons. Maybe make it so that I don’t have to do pointless shit.
Like there was this ad for AI in Pixel phones where the person takes a photo of them standing in front of a car, then alter the image using the AI to make the car look like it exploded. Why? Why would I ever want that? No is going to think the car actually ever exploded. What am I supposed to tell people when I show them the image?
