it’s an strange feeling for me to hear wolff describe how terminated federal workers are being used to help depress wages and working conditions when i’m a private worker who has willingly chose SIGNIFICANTLY depressed wages and working conditions for the slim chance of a true retirement.

it’s gets even stranger when wolff explains that the effects of that depression will result in an economic recession, considering that i chose this position to avoid the economic recessions that have defined my career and it makes me wonder if i’ve chosen poorly, since this new position is only VERY slightly more recession proof.
