Oh yeah, this is totally going to help people with hearing problems… not!
Hadn’t heard of the ethical use of AI in movies. Still not sure I’m on board with AI anywhere, but glad SAG was okay with it and this is an area I could see not being a horrible, soulless implementation. Though I expect artificially altering the physical performance can make it more soulless, so maybe mixed bag at best.
The lip syncing still seemed “off” to me, but i was also looking for it in the trailer.
Did anyone watch the movie and can comment how it was in the full movie?
I am genuinely curious to see how this turns outs. I’d love to see the original film somewhere to get a baseline, then do a side-by-side with this new AI-fiddled one.
