My other half’s mam fuckin’ loves Candy Crush, plays it most (if not every) night, maybe clears a level or two.

What really makes me smile is that whenever she drops a bollock and effectively renders a grid unwinnable, she’ll take the L and come back tomorrow. Fuck the MTX and fuck the extra time/re-rolls/level skips; she just goes back the following day and tries again.

Mad respect, if nothing else than to be the marginal player base that fucks with the “line goes up” metric.

My mom was addicted to a Facebook game called fish wrangler, turns out she had a bit of a problem cause she spent like $200 on the Internet game currency, (called red love chum)

I know someone that has all the cool game things you can have, and collectibles and rare issues of whatever graphics cards

They’re in a stupid amount of debt, I have no idea how they are paying it off either, might be something that’s going to collections or destroy credit forever

My mother loved Dr. Mario. She would sometimes encourage me to skip school (“Are you sure you feel alright? You look like you might be sick. Maybe you should stay home just in case.”) and we would play it until my ten-year-old self got bored first. However, she had zero interest in even trying any other games.

Mine was shooting colored marbles from the mouth of a stone frog at a loop of slowly approaching colored marbles.

In my case, it’s my dad. My mom absolutely detests those “match 3” games and prefers those idle adventure games or roguelikes/dungeon crawlers
