For some reason, not all of the tools are being published to the website. Mailfence has been added so will look into this tonight.

You are in luck! Pretty much all of the top options in https://purchasewithpurpose.eu/category/email/ have strong alias support. But Fastmail comes to mind with how it is integrated.

Will look at adding addy.io in the resource section. Sounds like it is a really useful tool when managing these accounts.

Also used both Fastmail and Infomaniak Mail. Ended up using Infomaniak Mail as there email grouping works really well.

The only reason would be if you preferred FairMail’s interface, for example. You usually only use a different email client if the provider you have doesn’t offer its own option or is limited in features.

I think Thunderbird is the only option that is on iOS. Would be very interested if there are others that I missed.

People in the community are already raising concerns that they are too focused on pushing new tools out rather than improving the ones they already have. Mailbox.org, Tuta and Posteo would be better choices if you are looking for an email-first provider.

If you’re looking to improve the guide I’d suggest not putting the week number in the same column as the list of app targets. Like either push them all the way to the left margin or rightward toward the arrow column

Thanks @xpey@piefed.social ! It’s comments like these that make it all worth it. So hard to know how many people are actually following these guides and benefiting from them. Having done the switch myself through this process, I feel so much better using tools from genuine businesses.

I get your point. I’ll look at adding the disclaimer to the category list as well to help educate without needing to click into the tool.
