Situations that are too fantastical to be real. An example could be a video I saw of a guy in a ski lift and a big snow owl lands on his shoulder.

In general: objects or subjects lacking realistic weight and/or physicality to them.

Noticing inconsistencies in the background where objects or subjects melt together, like a person in the background merging with a chair or a bookshelf for a second.

Also, different videos with very specific scenarios like for example surveilance footage of wild animals running through screen doors and into a house while a human is sleeping on the couch or different videos of go pro footage of people in Rollercoasters that go off the rails and fly into the air.

Things like these, I have noticed.

28 Years Later

I actually liked the movie, but it was nowhere near as good as the trailer.

The Bone Temple, was also decent, in my opinion.

It’s a weird couple of movies and I’m sure the third one will be strange as well, but I kinda dig it, even if some of it goes a bit too far sometimes. I like the ideas the creators are trying to convey even if the execution of some of these ideas (the Jimmys especially) is a bit of a miss for some people.

Apparently (just looked it up) her daughter struggled with drug addiction and Erin has spent years advocating for youths staying away from drugs/recovery.

I don’t know the timeline for Erin’s own problems and the problems of her daughter, but really do hope both of them are in a better place in life today. It’s gotta be such a rough thing to go through as a family.

If I remember correctly, she had some addiction issues and I think she was arrested for dui at some point. It’s many years ago at this point, so I don’t want say any more in case I’m getting some details wrong. I just remember looking her up a long time ago after rewatching the movie sometime in the 2010s and seeing her mugshot and reading about “the downfall of Erin Brockovich” or whatever and it made me sad at the time.

Tbf, humans are the least sensical animal on the planet.

While it isn’t the best movie ever, more people should really watch The Congress in relation to this type of problem. I knew when I saw that film back in 2013, that this was going to happen at some point in the future, similar as with the movie Her and its scenarios. And here we are.

I enjoyed watching some playthroughs of a couple of games over the years, but then I sorta lost interest. Used to follow John Wolfe a lot and watch his playthroughs. He was good at finding never heard of indie games in the horror genre, so I witnessed a few gems through him.

I genuinely do not regret jumping off the video game train back in 2015.

Everything I have heard about the evolution of the gaming industry since has surpassed my pessimistic predictions back then, which could be summarized as: video games are becoming predatory and I feel like they eat my time and money for dismissed returns.

It was especially the consol market and the whole online aspect that made me wrinkle my nose. Feels like nowadays you actually can’t buy and play a game offline.

But what do I know. I only tune in when my friend is playing on twitch and we talk about life over Signal. We have gone back to retro games recently too. Jake and Daxter 🎉

I think people are just tired of Superhero movies.

Obsession was a smash hit and that was a very female focused story 😀

Also, in October, Laika will release their newest film, Wildwood which will be a story about a girl, trying to save her baby brother from a weird fantasy world. I still haven’t been able to sit through that trailer without bawling my eyes out. It fucks me up, dude. It’s so beautiful. Please put a pin in this one for October! I genuinely think you won’t regret this one.

Good. I have had Superhero fatigue since 2010 and was not a fan when the MCU became a thing. Like goddammit, we JUST went through the 2000s super hero craze and now you’re telling me we are going to suffer through a decade and a half MORE of cape-shit?? Wth

I hope they keep losing money on super hero movies. Just let that genre die and move on. The horse is pulverized at this point, but you keep beating it.

Urgh, I hope things turn out right in the end! It sounds exhausting to be German these days. As one of your close neighbors (Denmark) I have always admired the Germans for the wisdom they have carried from ww2 and how it is reflected in art and politics through the decades. Also your ability to not just rebuild yourselves from a horrific past, but earn your place in the European hierarchy in the modern day. It’s endlessly impressive to me and I don’t really get to say this a lot, so forgive me for my simping xD

I just really appreciate our humorless neighbors and I want the best for all of you. I’ll keep hoping for Germany to do the right thing even though there are forces from the outside, trying to nurture forces from the inside to destabilize Europe. And Germany is such an important country for all of us ❤️

What fruits do you enjoy frozen?

Well, it is a problem for the local residents in the low income areas where the data centers are being placed. Not only is there less water for them now, but the data centers also pollutes the air and makes it life threatening for these people to breathe.

I believe it was Musks datacenters for Grok that were particularly bad with air pollution and while I forget the exact numbers of people affected, it was enough that it was concerning.

It makes total sense to me that Erin Brockovich is getting involved in this shit because it’s literally a repeat of the case that made her famous.

She had a little detour into some dark places, but managed to recover!

Rewatched the movie not so long ago and looked her up and was happy to see she was doing a lot better.
