Where are you accessing photon from? if phtn.lemmy.blahaj.zone, that’s on an ancient version, im pretty sure most of the problems are fixed nowadays (you can try phtn.app)

It’s not lightweight in terms of memory but it’s definitely not slower than jetbrains. I use both frequently, but prefer vs code because it feels much snappier to use.
