Maybe I don’t understand the community meaning, but comparing Radiohead with Coldplay demonstrates a high ignorance in music.
500 years in the future they will not be able to tell the difference between Elvis and Coldplay.
To illustrate: replace Radiohead with JS Bach and Coldplay with Handel, and Elvis with Vivaldi.
How can you meaningfully explain the differences to someone who has never listened to classical music?
Coldplay is the Friends of music
So that makes Radiohead the Joey of music, the unsuccessful spinoff 🤔
