Trump is a threat to certain parts of the deep state because he will replace them with dudes like a surprisingly sweaty car dealer from Ohio that cut a sweet real estate deal with him.
The inclusion of Bolton was a pretty clear indicator that they’ll let him incite hogs and say outlandish shit, but the agenda ultimately pushes on.
They’ll also let him put grifters in various positions and tolerate plenty of nonsense because most of the levers of power churn ahead anyways, yes. And Bolton, presumably just because Trump liked how much he wants to bomb Iran.
