    CBC reached out to Fraser’s office and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for comment but didn’t receive a response by publication time.

    Looks like their editor is an US import. The American Comma immediately before ‘for’ is a huge tip-off.

      The interaction between wages and immigration isn’t as simple as that. It’s worth bearing in mind that people don’t just consume economic opportunity, they produce it as well.
