I want the people who are making the stuff I watch to get paid. It cost them time and money to make it so its only fair they see some recompense. I dont like ads, so I pay for youtube premium. Agreed. Perhaps for some others it isn’t worth it but YouTube has been my main source of video entertainment since 2010 and I want to support the creators I watch so they can continue to make great content and without fear of censoring their videos for the sake of ad revenue.
