Using Crossover and bg3dx11.exe on my M2 Macbook Pro I’ve been able to sink at least 160 hours (3 multiplayer campaigns, one complete solo campaign, and starting a second solo) into the game so far. Even most mods are playing nicely (if they support manual installs).

I’m excited for the official macOS release so that hopefully I won’t have to deal with weird graphical bugs and Act 3 won’t slow down as much.

I was desperate and played the first few hours on my M2 MacBook Air in a Parallels Windows 11 ARM Machine. Beside some graphic glitches it worked kinda well enough.

Can’t wait to see how it will run natively.

I’m so ready for this. I’m also secretly hoping we get an iPad version like they did with Divinity Original Sin 2

As a non Windows user (Linux) I am glad they are releasing the MAC version.

I am loving this game. Interacting with any NPC is a good time. The writing team did a great job.

I also saw that Patch 3 comes out the next day.

So does that mean we get the patch early? Or do we get the Mac version and then a new patch the next day? Or worse, is the Mac a patch behind the PC version?

I really want to be able to play with my friends.

So has anyone downloaded it? I see the warning on Steam that Mac users get the EA version is gone. But on GoG it still says Windows-only.
