I start with a normal line of text for the title, add some more text below it, then end the toot by @ing this community, but it never showed up. Here’s a link to it

Hmm… Maybe you need to precise the instance name : @testfediverse@jlai
Either that or you need to intialise federation btw this community and your Mastodon instance.
