The chain, which has been closing locations for years, shuttered nearly 100 restaurants during the 2024 fiscal year.

“Why doesn’t Dickey’s go as hard as it used to?”

      Dickey’s, right?

WAY overpriced crap, seriously shitty. Had it maybe twice.

I had it once. That was enough for me. I live in a land of good local bbq so I won’t buy chain bbq anymore. It never even comes close. And some, like dickeys are so mediocre they enter the offensive territory. I would rather eat a fast food burger instead.

Never heard of them. Just checked the map and the nearest one is 100 miles from me.

You’ve not missed anything special. The couple of times I ate there it was basic lunchroom BBQ fare. Not special at all and overpriced as well.

I think fast food is going to have a hard time going forward. It just is to expensive relative to people with little money.

yeah those who can afford it can afford better. they are highly reliant on poor people for money and labor.

There must be some variance because the ones in Washington were quite decent when I was there and the kids eat free Sundays seems like an insanely consumer friendly deal.

Ribs are their strong suit and the jalapeno cheddar sausage is solid.
