I’m glad I’m not crazy! Coming from Texas, the many times I’ve driven in and around Seattle, they are 100% like this. People slowing down to well under the speed limit to allow merging, and the almost 0% of speeding is so foreign to me. I feel like everyone there is dangerously polite while driving.
I hate when someone stops in traffic to let me out of a parking lot or to let me turn left across their lane. You have right of way! Being polite isn’t worth driving dangerously!
