The Supreme Court is declining to hear an appeal from oil and gas companies trying to block lawsuits seeking to hold the industry liable for billions of dollars in damage linked to climate change.
Mate these ghouls literally rolled back Roe v Wade right in front of the world’s face. I don’t think they care what we think or how much coverage they get. They are immune to the consequences of their actions and thus will continue to act this way.
It’s all about smoke and mirrors with corporate malfeasance - to be fair the oil companies can also just do what they want the fines would always be just another line item in the P&L, but they spend the money on PR anyway.
What I am talking about is how they will undermine any law or get it how they want to maximize profit without anyone looking too deeply.
If that was not the case the SC would hear this case and follow through, absorbing the backlash like they got from the Roe v Wade… it’s still all about image for corporate America.
