    I love that Bill Burr managed to avoid being a rich old shithead. If anything, he’s gotten LESS shitty with age. And he also catches the “facts don’t care about your feelings” crowd so off-guard, because he just has that “I don’t care who I offend” swagger.

      i dont think this is true. didnt he do some cringe episode about landlords a few months back because he’s a landlord? maybe he redeemed himself with some funny luigi quips idk, havent heard anything since the landlord stuff im talking about

        Oh he’s far better about sexism then he has ever been. His anticapitalist takes are not pro communist takes. He likely wants a return to the 90% tax rate era if he could articulate it. But he has great popular messages. He’s basically becoming Gorge Carlin as he ages, to make a crude and uninformed comparison.

          Bill got some heat for defending landlords a few months ago. He was effectively doing a “both sides” type argument. He clarifies that he’s talking about the “mom and pop” landlords, which, as we know, doesn’t change anything about the exploitive nature of landlords, but in Bill’s mind he separates them from the corporate landlords. Bill has a nice house, he gets shit about it at times, and his community speculates that he owns an apartment in NY that he rents out when not using it.
