I guess that makes my first confirmation the stuff is working! I thought I’d have to wait longer to notice things. What other things might I notice super early?

Not sure, hormones are weird and go all over your body including your brain. Even cis women taking hormonal birth control get more emotional, or cis women in perimenopause/with PCOS on HRT get more emotional. Estrogen really does alter some stuff in your brain chemistry and turn on the emotional granularity button and turn on the crying threshold dial way down.

Trans men on HRT talk about how they lose some ability to differentiate emotions and they get way angrier way faster - also hornier, but whatever.

I’m sure everyone’s experience is different, but in my case it felt like finally unlocking emotions that I hadn’t had proper access to. I was a very angry teenager pre-HRT, but once I started E, the vast majority of those angry moments became times when I’d cry instead.

Right, but I wonder how much of that is the hormonal difference (which makes me wonder about nature/nurture with human behaviour) and how much of it is an altered mental state by lessening dysphoria

I’m looking forward to this honestly. It sucks so bad wanting to cry and not being able to find it within myself to. I watch sad movies specifically to try to cry and I can’t :(

Emotional changes. Those were some of the first things I noticed. I noticed after like 9 days that I was already handling the stress of my shitty job a lot better than I usually do
