I think Kaya exorcised them. It still employs ghosts though.
Edit: Yeah she did and then Teysa Karlov came back as a ghost and created a new ghost council. A kinder one or something. MtG post khans of tarkir is just too lib for me. Not that it doing well even at that point, but it at least wasnt the only cash cow Hasbro owned so it could do something interesting.
I had two boxes full of khans cards before I moved and now I can’t find them. I also lost the box with all my good decks and I’m finally near friends who play again.
I had a brutal golgari/lumberknot deck and a rakdos/vampires. Innistrad and RTR was so good too.
I really enjoyed shadows over innistrad and Eldritch moon, and Ravnica 1 and 2. For a newer set that I don’t think is too crazy expensive I had a lot of fun drafting Ixalan.
