A private league in POE 1 is a sandboxed version of the game where you can only interact with players who are in the same private league. The means a fresh game economy, every players starts a new character from scratch. This private league was launch a little over 2 hours ago by Pohx, a youtuber who is known for making videos for new players.
Almost 20,000 players have registered so far. This is a pretty substantial number for a private league.
