Gaming performance on Linux has been better than ever for me and I love the strides Proton has made but it’s really frustrating dealing with a large library of smaller games, yet their prefix folders have insanely huge file sizes.

Just two examples, the old Peggle games are less than 50MB downloads each yet their prefixes almost hit 600-800MB, and Sonic Mania is a 200MB download with a 600MB prefix folder.
