It sounds… exactly like any other piano to me.
Maybe it’s different in person?
If you had some 9ft speakers it might sound better, but in person is likely the only way to really experience it.
Sounds Huge and … Horrible
Interesting. Why do you feel that way? To me it seems to produce the fundamental frequencies much better in the low end. It’s very clear sounding. Though the intonation doesn’t quite sound perfect. But that’s most pianos in the wild.
Because the bass strings vibrate too much and overlaps and even distort the sound of the other strings. I was waiting each time the interpreter will hit the bass keys. And there is a tiny momentum on his way of playing for that particular moment to show the piano particularities.
The frame on that must be massive to contain the strain on that copper.
