Eh, at 9 hours, 20 min isn’t that different IMO, I’d probably go around as well. That said, if the speeds are the same and you’re using a gas car (i.e. it’s adding about 20 miles), it’ll largely be a wash. I’d instead prioritize the path that’s prettier.
