Summary

Trump’s mass federal layoffs, including over 1,000 VA employees, have disproportionately impacted veterans, both as workers and beneficiaries.

With nearly 30% of federal employees being veterans, job losses threaten their economic stability and could delay essential VA services.

While VA Secretary Doug Collins claims the cuts will not harm healthcare or benefits, Democratic lawmakers warn of staffing shortages, halted services, and longer wait times.

Veterans and advocates fear lasting damage to the VA system, with research and critical patient care already disrupted.

77 million people had better be constantly asked the question: are you wishing you had a Black woman President right now?

I don’t know what they’re reading, but they’re convinced everything is great.

“He’s even more disciplined this time around. And he’s calmer. We didn’t need to be sending condoms to Gaza.”

      I’m so tired.

When they lose their job, lose federal grants to their state, lose their immigrant friends, have their grocery bills rise, have unemployment insurance and social security benefits cut, lose business in-town, and their kids stop talking to them…

A good chunk will still blame minorities despite all that. We still have to hammer home to anyone that will listen, that all this stuff is what hate (embodied in the MAGA anti-DEI, anti-woke moment) does to you.

I don’t know if this is true but I’ve heard that elections have consequences. Probably just some more woke shit though.
