"These are free meals being paid by the tax payer, they are very good according to many of the people receiving them," Associate Education Minister David Seymour told Checkpoint.

Is anyone else thoroughly sick of politicians constantly calling for resignations every time a mistake is made?

It sounds like the school lunch thing is a royal cockup, and I’m not defending it, but calling for a resignation over this is a bit silly.

    Yep, I definitely agree with you there.

    The issue with calling for resignations over everything, in my view, is people dismiss your concerns out of hand, whereas if you criticised the minister in question and said they should perhaps apologise, people would listen to your concerns.

      Yep, and the chance of the leader of a party resigning is asymptomaticly low.
