I’m finally getting to replacing my ISP-provided Huawei router for, well, something - anything - else. When sifting through options available locally I’ve noticed Fritzbox 4060, which is not a name ice heard ever before. I didn’t find much info about neither the company nor the product (except for marketing info and basic technical specs, which look fine for me). I guess I could’ve looked up some German sites (and believe the automated translations, cause my German is almost nonexistent) but I’m honestly interested in opinions of the people in this community.
So, what’s up with AVM?

Yeh, best isp router I have ever had. Let’s you VPN I to your network, setup dyn DNS if needed, gives you lots of usage stats etc.
Unfortunately it doesn’t let you change it’s MAC address so I can’t use it instead of my new ISPs shitty router.
Fyi the 6790 is their newest one out this year with WiFi 7. (I have been researching routers too)
