A female wizard is a “mage”, right? A male witch is a warlock

Sorcerer and sorceress. Sorcerers and sorceresses don’t require any incantation to do magic, that’s the difference between wizardry and sorcery

I attend a magic council with a commitment to being open and affirming. Our council has wizards, warlocks, magi, witches, seers, necromancers, and even an abjurer. If you mess with a broom you best be ready for the staff from behind. Equal rites for magic users!

(Except sorcerers, they’re a bit scarily focused on purity of blood lines for my taste)

I don’t have anything to say in those yahoos that practice divine magic. If God isn’t already dead I have fireball prepared.

While I am all for equal rites I recognize the differences in magical paths and traditions. I’m not some pretender who claims not to see white or black magic, mincing about proudly claiming not to see the color of magic, but can accept that they are different in background but equal nonetheless. And it would be ignorant to conflate one background for another.

I’m not someone under a self delusion spell who claims that they don’t see color, I recognize that white magic, black magic, etc. are different with different backgrounds and experiences, yet are equal.
