Israeli Military Destroys Gaza’s Only Cancer Hospital

The Israeli military has blown up Gaza’s only specialized cancer hospital, a Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, along with an adjacent medical school. The destruction has been condemned as part of Israel’s “systematic state terrorism” and has left thousands of patients without access to cancer treatment. The hospital was previously damaged in Israeli air strikes and had been rebuilt with a Turkish donation of $34m in 2017.
