I had an ATV accident when I was about 12, my dad didn’t tell me how to ride it really so on a trail instead of weaving through bumps I just plowed right through and flipped it. The lip on the back went into the middle of my back and the body of the ATV pushed my head into the sand. My dad pulled it off me after bout 3 min and brushed me off and we kind of got back to it and when I told my mom She was piiiissed lmao she took me to a hospital but they didn’t find anything. Since then I had bout 3-8/10 pain depending on movement. I couldn’t walk too much, couldn’t stand up straight and started developing a kyphosis’ adjacent posture, and almost got to 300lbs; but I have a high pain threshold so I dealt with it until I was 25 lel✌🏻 I went to a chiropractor in my network (not the one I wanted, reviews weren’t that great but more expensive) and he fixed that pain, it doesn’t really even bother me at all and isn’t tender, but now I have a pain to the right of my spine in almost the same area. It’s way more excruciating and I wasn’t even able to do therapies very easily. I went back and told him but he just said kids sometimes fracture their ribs and it’s not noticeable in scans, he did a useless adjusting in about 1 minute and sent me off. I’m probably at about between 5-9/10 and I work at a much more strenuous activity level and I love it, but some shifts I have to lay on the ground for a while 🙆🏻‍♀️ I kinda wanna just learn chiropracty or whatever it’s called and fix it myself but one internet search says that’s the worst thing to do 😂😂😂 not sure if I should go back, go to the one I originally wanted if I ever find some way to pay for that, or just deal w it 😮‍💨 wild sht

I second this. My girlfriend went to a chiropractor for ages and only got worse until she went to a real doctor (physical therapist). Now she is doing exercises to strengthen the right back muscles and is feeling so much better.

yes, some of things they do are real, proven, therapy, techniques. If you would benefit from any of them PT will make it part of your therapy regimen.
