Across a wide range of games, the Radeon RX 9070 XT is, on average, about 5% slower than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. So, generally speaking, performance is quite close. Based on MSRP – $600 for the 9070 XT and $750 for the 5070 Ti – the Radeon GPU is priced 20% lower, offering around 15% better value.

Looking at recent retail pricing, we found the 9070 XT typically sells for $750, while the RTX 5070 Ti goes for around $900, making the Radeon GPU 17% cheaper and approximately 12% better value. Realistically, you’ll likely purchase whichever model is available at a reasonable price, and that’s more likely to be a Radeon GPU, as the 9070 XT is far more readily available than the 5070 Ti.

Seems like the 9070 XT is a clear winner in terms of perf/$, if you can get it at a reasonable price.

The cheapest 9070 XT where I live goes for ~€815 (out of pocket cost), but this is just one SKU from XFX, all other SKUs are ~€900 and up.

Cheapest 5070 Ti is €1,100 (most SKUs start at around €1,200).

In our market, the Radeon RX 9070 XT offer an even better performance/price ratio.

9070 xt costs more at this current moment in the US as a 5070 but just barely and the 9070 xt is lower on stock

      neck and neck on performance

and in terms of costs you forgot to add in new motherboard costs because these are pcie 5.0

lot more than just the final cost at checkout

To be fair, I believe running on PCIE 4.0 doesn’t really impact performance (it’s like 1-2 percentage point, which is IMO not significant).

same as a pcie 4.0 does not run well on 3.0

          again more than just performance

both amd and nvidia are now on the same price with low stock
