After many failed attempts to pose as the “saviors” for Syrian Druze and Alawites; many attempts at gaining the trust and cooperation of the locals failed.
The iof recently tried to enter a village through force (they drove an armored vehicle) and were rejected by the locals. Of course the locals defended themselves with gunfire, which forced the iof to leave.
Unsurprisingly, the iof have started using artillery on villagers and have resorted to extermination.
What the jihadi filth running the country will do is still technically unknown. However I predict that they will ignore the massacre and instead target syrians under the guise of removing “assadists”.

I know that the two situations are not identical, but this is reminding me of the Axis’s massacres of hundreds of thousands of Roma, Sinti, and Yenish people. They were not quite subjected to the same extermination programme as European Jews, and these minorities suffered fewer deaths, but their tragic fates were frequently intertwined with Jews’ anyway. There was a similar lot for Assyrians when the Central Powers focussed on exterminating Armenians.
Not being Palestinian myself, I hesitate to argue that the Lebanese and the Syrians are also victims of the Nakba, but I can see some future historians arguing as much. This is clearly another case of one extermination campaign affecting other humans in addition to the main victims.
I’m not very well versed in situation in Syria but from what i can see it’s very telling that the new government there is doing exactly the same things ISIS was doing. And the very same people are and always were behind them.
