I still don’t get how these people are able to frame themselves as populists. (Aside from a massively powerful propaganda machine, Americans having the political literacy of a brick, and there not really being anyone to stop them)
WE’RE AGAINST THE ELITES (sees a whole cabal of high ranking mfs bankrolling them)
these people don’t view the actual elites as “the elite”, they think some random trans woman in a red state with no rights is “the elite”.
In other words, they’re morons.
Don’t attribute to stupidity what can easily be explained by malice.
