What one would you keep?

    I prefer John Carpenter’s The Thing, I would get rid of the prequel/remake though.

    I like the Alien universe a lot though, I just prefer the feel of watching The Thing to Alien (which stresses me out more)

    Both these are in my all-time top ten, it would be like choosing to kill one of my kids… Is what I would say if the 1979 movie Alien wasn’t a masterpiece. It would win by a long shot. Now if we’re talkin 1986 Aliens, I would keep The Thing, because it’s objectively a better movie.

      Yeah I ment alien ('79) I didn’t realize I said aliens until it was too late. Up until probably like 3 years ago I would have said The thing. I think they are pretty much identical quality, both fantastic movies. But now days my answer would be Alien. Simply for the fact it might be a little more rewatchable only in the sense that I only ever really watch the thing during winter. I can be in the mood to watch alien any season.
