    With a new naked gun coming out, I thought there was no way they’re making another Airplane! in the same year Turns out this is true, as this movie here is in no way affiliated with such a great movie. Or greatness. This trailer portrays the opposite of great

      It was made by The Asylum, which is a company known for doing low budget movies and then slapping names that are popular movies that are vaguely similar, like Atlantic Rim. They absolutely used Airplane 2025 to piggyback on the Naked Gun coming out in an attempt to trick people into watching it.

      One of the youtube comments says the working title was Mile High Club which would be a perfect title for what was in the trailer.

      The Naked Gun trailer looks good. This looks like one of The National Lampoon movies from the 2000s. A lot of humour will probably be based on body fluids.

        Wait, the Naked Gun trailer looks good‽ you must have seen a different trailer than I did. The one I saw looked awful. I will admit I got one and only one minor chuckle out of it and that was the slight at oj. But outside of that the trailer seemed to completely lack any self-awareness of what it was. Looking like it was made by someone who never seen or understood the original movies. I might give it a chance still. Seeing as this isn’t somehow a reboot of the old characters. These are supposed to be the sons of The Originals. But so far my confidence really isn’t there. But Tom Arnold in an airplane movie this is just f****** egregious
