Never played dark souls, I assume it’s the same terrible camera movements like in the witcher 3 game. Aka…games made with console as a priority then ported to pc
I would say playing them with a controller feels more natural, but I did play through DS2 with keyboard and mouse as my first Dark Souls game and it was OK.
Yea Dark Souls 1 definitely was made with console in mind first and foremost and was then portec to PC. The port was horrible, from what I remember, and you had to use a controller for the game to be playable at all. Other than that, it’s pretty much just standard camera controls - nothing crazy but also not bad, I’d say
