A year ago the NIH estimated that 65k people had been killed, almost double the 37k estimated by the Gaza ministry of health at the time, a difference caused by the GMOH only counting identifiable bodies and not being able to track missing persons. Since then, the GMOH’s ability to count deaths has only gotten worse and there’s been a famine - it wouldn’t surprise me if the total death count by this point surpassed 100k.
100k is probably a gross undercount.
