She might be young for a captain, but she sure has many marine friends. Vanessa has access to various aquatic friends, ranging from real-world animals such as jellyfish, catfish, pufferfish, piranha and zoarcid; to others like Old Saltclaw, Mr. Richardson and Seashadow. She is also befriends the giant turtle Tortuga and even the tentacle monster, the Slumbering Primordial.
