    it’s worse than 1984. i read it’s the distance between the eyes that’s unique to everyone, and which a computer can measure with insane accuracy. not perfect, but good enough that humans can use it to narrow down results and find one person out of thousands. and the cameras are everywhere.

    i live in a tiny town and the tiny downtown area is completely covered. i doubt there’s a spot that isn’t watched from at least 2 angles by cameras. so for years now they’ve had footage of every face at every protest, march, strike, etc. cross reference these with the social media photos everyone’s been uploading for decades, and which has been handed over to the govt, and they probably know more about you than your own friends/family do. maybe more than you know about yourself
