This is one of those things I think you can find locally in many EU countries, f.e.
    https://www.skeppshult.com/en/3-all-products - Sweden
    https://staubshop.com/staub-cast-iron-pan/ - France (German owner since 2008)
https://www.fiskars.com/en/cooking/product-families/norden - Finland (Scroll down to find the Cast Iron)

Looks good but I’m never buying anything other than Skeppshult when it comes to cast iron pans - those are the GOAT.

As an American I had to look that up, and my heart just melted. Those are gorgeous pieces of art. The only thing is, I’m used to being able to throw mine from the stove top into the oven. I’m guessing with the wooden handles that’s a no-go?

Depends on the temperature of the oven, but the wood handles are easy to unscrew, they have a steel rod running through them that is capped with a cast iron loop. I usually start searing on the stove when cooking roast, pop the pan into the oven and unscrew the handle. When it’s done, I put the handle back on before taking the pan out.

Hell yeah. Skeppshult with the round steel handles are the best. I have an old one I found rusted out in an abandoned house in the woods, and one new. They look pretty much exactly the same after restoration. It’s the only thing I’ll use for meatballs and pancakes.

Kockums carbon steel pans are nice too. The wife likes that they aren’t as heavy as cast iron pans tend to be.

These look great! I’ll check those “green days” out that they mention!
