Sure is nice to see that the vulgar idea of “it’s not a real job unless you’re exhausted and covered in sweat and dirt/grease after a 12 hour shift” is still very present in some people here. I guess I should’ve stayed a chef until I died of alcohol poisoning because drinking daily was the only way to survive in that job, but at least it was “real work” according to this person. Fuck them, people can try to find enjoyment and joy in their jobs, even under capital, even if it means they don’t get to create exactly what they would like to and have to create what sells, it doesn’t make them petite bourgeois just because they aren’t destroying their body and their liver with their work.
