Looks a bit scrawny, is it a juvenile? The woodpigeons I see are invariably plump with plumage in perfect state (presumably because they eat less trash).
Yes, a juvenile, lots oft golden hair still, no white collar yet etc. But i saw it flying a bit, hope it made it back onto its tree, not onto the road.
