Boromir, pointing at Aragorn: I thought I knew how your age worked but apparently I was wrong
Boromir, pointing at Gandalf: I especially don’t know how your age works
Gandalf: It doesn’t, but carry on
Since I bothered looking it up, I might as well share:

- Legolas - ~3000 (Immortal lifespan)
- Gimli - 140 (Dwarf lifespan ~300 years)
- Aragorn - 87 (Dunedain lifespan ~200 years)
- Frodo - 50 (Hobbit lifespan ~95 years)
- Samwise - 38
- Merry - 36
- Pippen - 28
I thought gandalf was 2019 years old. But that would make him younger than legolas then.
I believe that would only encompass his time in Middle Earth, but someone more knowledgeable would likely be able to clarify if/why that’s different.
He existed before the world itself, and is literally older than time. His entire race basically came to be at the dawn of creation. They have simply always existed.
He’s sometimes seen running around trouserless so around 3, maybe?
