      I worked in a shop for four years and only one time did I see see someone stealing food I thought they were going to eat an old lady stole a loaf of bread and I let her take it. The other 99.99% of the time it was have and junkies stealing high value items like steaks, etc, so they could sell them on, or they were stealing alcohol.

    Something only the out of touch wealthy would think would work. The amount of time potentially involved when you get caught up in the legal process (or even less significant processes) alone make it SO not worth doing.
